MAIL-IN ORDERS
Money Orders, Cashier's Checks or Personal Checks may be sent to Safety Gear HQ at the following address: Safety Gear HQ 3108 Lady Marci Ct, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 Make checks out to "Safety Gear HQ". Please note orders placed with Money orders or Cashier's checks are sent out same day but Personal Checks must wait for checks to clear.

RETURN POLICY
If your item is damaged in any way you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a replacement. Contact us for an RMA # BEFORE returning items.
We do not offer refunds until we have first sent a replacement of your original order. Only if that item is not working do we offer a full refund.
Refunds are fully contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it. Please allow 7-10 days for processing returns. There is a 15% processing fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged.
Note: Warranty will be voided and returns will not be honored if a product has been abused or tampered with. This includes, but is not limited to, taking a product apart to attempt to fix it. All returns will be inspected by our warehouse returns staff and Credits and/or Replacements will be issued after the return is processed. There is a 15% processing fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. You will be reimbursed the cost of your item - 15%. We do not reimburse the $7.95 shipping cost that you paid. Please note if you cancel your order, you will then be charged the $7.95 shipping cost in addition to the restocking fees applicable to your return.
If you need to return an order, please read the following:
Contact us by email or phone at for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. The RMA number must be on your return shipping label. If it is not, your package may be refused and sent back to you. We get samples from different companies and individuals all the time. If we accept/receive a package and it does not have an RMA number on the box, it gets set aside. In addition, please include a note inside the return package with the following information: ---1. First Name/Last Name of customer ---2. Shipping address of customer ---3. Your RMA number ---4. Reason for return ---5. Specify whether you want a replacement or refund.
Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery date. All delivery dates are kept on file here at Safety Gear HQ. Returns accepted and/or received after 30 days will receive an exchange or in store credit only.
VHS Self Defense Videos cannot be returned for a refund. You may return these items for replacement only.
Pepper spray cannot be returned if the package has been opened or tampered with.
If you did not give your full or correct address when placing your order and the package is returned to us, you will be charged $7.95 for shipping to send the package back to you. IMPORTANT - The product(s) must be returned in resaleable condition with all original packaging, accessories and accompanying literature. If we receive your product without the accompanying accessories and documentation, you will not get a refund or in store credit. If you lost something that goes with your order, you can not return it.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to Safety Gear HQ. If you want to return it, you must pay for shipping the item yourself. If, however, we make a mistake on your order, we will reimburse you the cost of shipping your order back to us via Ground or Standard only. No Overnight or Express methods will be reimbursed. We will reship your order the same way we shipped it to you initially at no additional charge. This makes it fair to all concerned.
Safety Gear HQ generously gives free shipping, this does not mean that the shipping was free. This just means that we did not charge you anything for the shipping. The cost of shipping your order to you, whether you paid for shipping or not, will be deducted from any refund given. For example, if your order was $24.95 plus $7.95 shipping, your refund will be the cost of the item which is $24.95. However, if your order was $102.00, which qualifies for free shipping, and you return your order for a refund, your refund amount will be $95.50. ($102.00 minus $7.95 shipping on most orders).
Please send your return via UPS or FED EX since these methods are easily trackable. If you prefer to use US Mail, please insure the package and include delivery confirmation. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the return gets to Safety Gear HQ.
Orders that are cancelled prior to shipment are subject to a $9.95 processing fee.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Important Note: Most orders are shipped the same day or within 24 hours (business days) via UPS Ground. Some orders are also shipped via U.S. Priorty mail. Orders received by 2 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, will often ship the same day. Orders received after that time, or on weekends, will ship the following business day.
Ground shipping is $7.95 and will be automatically calculated into your total upon check out for orders under $100.00. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territory orders must be shipped by other means, as Ground service is unavailable to these areas. We normally ship to Alaska and Hawaii and U.S. Territories via USPS Priority Mail. For all orders inside the Continental U.S: Please provide a Physical Address and not a PO Box for the shipping address. UPS can not deliver to a PO Box. Once your order is submitted, you will receive a receipt/purchase confirmation via email. A tracking # will be sent to you upon request via e-mail. Safety Gear HQ ships most items using UPS and the rest use U.S. priority mail. We have had much success with UPS, and will continue using them as our main source of shipping. We are able to provide our customers with quality shipping services, tracking of packages, and ensured delivery when using UPS. For money order, cashier's check or PayPal orders, please be sure to add the appropriate shipping costs (if applicable). If the correct address is not provided with your order, and UPS returns your package to our office, you will be charged $7.95 to re-ship the order to the correct address.
